To become a master groomer you must show competency in a series of 4 exams. These exams are held each year at three locations:- Wellington, Christchurch and Auckland. Each year will be a different category and revolve around in a repetitive cycle.
- Gun dogs
- Terriers
- Non Sporting
- Bichon
In order to qualify to sit an exam in any given year you must attend the corresponding workshop – these dates published each year on the website along with the facebook page.
Once the above three certificate are held you can complete the final exam – YOUR MASTERS!!!! Members who have completed all four modules may claim the prestigious title of a NZ Certified Master Groomer. The final exam can be completed on any year upon the completion of the first three categories.
